Open-Space corrugated sheet metal containers

Needcontainers’ Open-Space corrugated sheet metal containers are designed for companies that require secure, flexible storage solutions that comply with current regulations. Made of galvanised corrugated sheet metal, they combine structural strength, weather resistance and ease of maintenance. Their open structure ensures excellent ventilation, ideal for substances that require constant ventilation, without compromising the protection of the contents.

Each unit is equipped with an integrated containment tank, designed to hold at least one third of the total volume of the tanks inside it or, in any case, the entire capacity of the largest tank. This compliance with Ministerial Decree 18.05.1995 ensures maximum environmental protection in the event of accidental spills. The support grating, made of galvanised carbon steel with high-capacity mesh, offers stability, effective drainage and easy access during loading, unloading and inspection operations.

Natural ventilation is guaranteed on 1/30 of the floor area, as required by law, to prevent the build-up of hazardous vapours. In addition, each container undergoes rigorous quality controls and is then registered with a unique safety label, in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, for total traceability and safety in the workplace.

To maximise functionality, we offer a range of optional extras on request: internal perimeter shelving, panic bars, access ramps and emergency kits for the rapid absorption of accidental spills.

The real strength of these containers lies in their complete customisation. We can produce special sizes and integrate specific systems, such as standard or ATEX lighting, intrusion alarm systems, explosion-proof forced extraction and filtration systems, smoke detectors with automated closure and air conditioning systems.
