Corrugated sheet metal containers for horizontal drum storage

Needcontainers galvanised corrugated sheet metal containers are designed for the safe storage of drums in a horizontal position. Thanks to the horizontal configuration, tapping becomes faster and more controlled. This reduces the risk of accidental spills. In addition, the open structure ensures excellent natural ventilation, which is essential for volatile substances.

Horizontal Storage with Integrated Shelving
Each sheet metal container includes internal shelving on which to place the drums in a stable manner. These structures are designed to withstand heavy loads. For this reason, they ensure maximum safety during daily operations. The galvanised corrugated sheet metal offers strength and resistance to atmospheric agents, even in outdoor environments.

Containment tank compliant with Ministerial Decree 18/05/1995
Underneath the shelving, a containment tank collects any leaks. Its capacity is calculated to hold at least 1/3 of the total volume of the drums. Alternatively, it must be equal to the capacity of the largest drum. The support grating is made of galvanised carbon steel with high-capacity mesh. This allows for drainage, stability and easy inspection.

Ventilation and Mandatory Registration
Natural ventilation covers 1/30 of the floor area, as required by law. In addition, each unit undergoes rigorous testing. For this reason, it is registered and provided with unique safety labelling, in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08.

Customisation and Optional Extras on Request
On request, it is possible to add: panic bars, access ramps, perimeter shelving and first aid kits. We also manufacture sheet metal containers with special dimensions and dedicated systems: ATEX lighting, explosion-proof extraction, air conditioning, smoke detectors and intrusion alarms.
